By using our website, you agree to the terms and conditions listed below.   

All of Chaizing Fireflies products are handmade in Central Pennsylvania or in the case of our Bentley's Maple Syrup, Upstate New York.

Due to the nature of handmade items, each product is individual and there may be a slight variation from one to another. We love that there are often variations in these products, it makes them truly individual. 

Product Disclaimers: Please be advised that the products for sale on the Chaizing Fireflies Candle Company's website are not intended to diagnose, cure, mitigate, prevent, or treat any disease or health condition and they are not to be considered a medical device. Our products have not been evaluated by the Food & Drug Administration. Test each product on a small portion of your skin before broadcast usage. 

Slip and Fall Risk: Our products may cause surfaces to become slippery. Please keep in mind that handmade products that are used in or around the bathroom, more specifically in the bathtub, may leave a residue in the area in which they are used. This residue may cause surfaces to become slippery and may require those areas to be rinsed after each use. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they use these products with caution to avoid the risk of falls. 

Allergens: At Chaizing Fireflies we use Coconut Oil and other ingredients that contain additives from coconuts and/or tree nuts. We also use cosmetic-grade water-soluble dyes and micas. We do not use any peanut oil or have specific ingredients. However, we, cannot guarantee that the ingredients we procure are stored in a peanut-free warehouse or environment.

It is up to the customer to be aware of their own allergies and/or the allergies of the persons who will come in contact with our products. We can not guarantee that there has not been cross-contamination for any product that may have come in contact with allergens. All ingredient information is listed on the product labels and thoroughly on our website.  By purchasing our products you recognize and accept the fact that some natural ingredients, essential oils in particular, may still cause sensitivity in susceptible individuals and that Chaizing Fireflies Candle Co. will not be held responsible for such occurrences. You as a customer accept FULL responsibility if continued use of or purchase of products without complete or extensive knowledge about product ingredients and /or functions. You have the right to ask questions prior to purchase via email at info@chaizingfireflies.com or by calling our customer service line at (570)404-5057. Chaizing Fireflies Candle Company is not liable for any individual reaction to any particular ingredient. Remember to read our labels and ingredient lists carefully and follow the appropriate directions for use. Should you have a specific allergy or sensitivity, do not use ingredients that may trigger a reaction. 

An Allergy patch test is highly recommended if there is any doubt or history of skin reactions. 

*Discontinue use if a reaction occurs.* If a product contains an allergen please alert the owner directly at dmithchell@chaizingfireflies.com to better accommodate. If this is not done prior to purchasing so then you relinquish all liability from Chaizing Fireflies Candle Co. 

Terms of Use: For personal use only. Without written consent and contract between Chaizing Fireflies Candle Co. and the seller, for the ability to re-sell products manufactured by Chaizing Fireflies Candle Co., the seller who takes the risk without written consent is aware that legal action can take place and does so at their own risk. Without written approval, the re-sale and brand tampering of Chaizing Fireflies Candle Company products is not approved and is considered brand identity theft. 

Claims and Liability: Chaizing Fireflies Candle Co. is not allowed to make claims that our products will provide you with a medical benefit and cannot provide you with answers to questions that may involve your personal health. You are hereby advised to consult your physician for any questions regarding the use of our products before using them. All products are created for external use only. When purchasing products from Chaizing Fireflies Candle Co., you agree to the terms and conditions laid out within this section in which Chaizing Fireflies Candle Co. is not liable, nor are we responsible in compensation for any physical property damage; physical injury; physical reactions; physical alterations (hair or skin); or any aspect of physical harm. We are not responsible should there be an allergic reaction to a product as all information is indicated on product labels and our website. 

In the event that there is an error in print on a product label after the sale; Chaizing Fireflies has the right to make updates to any errors or changes, edit these changes to the website, and reflect any changes, edits, or errors made on the website under the specific product type. When customers purchase products from Chaizing Fireflies Candle Company in person, on social media, or via our website, they agree to the terms and conditions listed and published here. 

Returns: Please chose carefully, as we do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, if you are not totally satisfied with the quality of your product choice, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your purchase. If you receive your product(s) damaged please rest assured that we will refund or replace your damaged merchandise at no cost to you. 

Trademarks & Copyright: Chaizing Fireflies Candle Company is a registered trademark and cannot be used in connection with any other party or service. All logos, images, information, and photographs belong to Chaizing Fireflies Candle Co. and are protected by the United States and international copywriting laws. Our product designs and concepts are copyright protected and any breaches will result in the appropriate legal action.
